Behind The Scenes - Meg and Billy, Pimhill Barn, Shropshire.

Last weekend we had the great pleasure of travelling down to Shrewsbury, Shropshire to install a very special wedding floral scape for Meg and Billy. A busy few days in beautiful surroundings at the couples chosen venue, Pimhill Barn.

I shared several discussions with Meg and Billy about how they saw the day playing out and how our seasonal floral design would elevate their vision. We agreed on a paired back palette with an injection of naturalistic yellow to accent simple florals.

The tablescape was styled and curated around the use of natural materials. I was particularly pleased with the opportunity to forage fossils, dried seaweed and rocks in Norfolk recently with the intention of displaying them for their wedding.

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to capture many images of the ceremony meadow we created, using 16 abundant troughs of ferms, alliums and achillea, but ‘Lucy Little’ the photographer for the day was diligently capturing each moment, which we’ll look forward to seeing more of soon.

Meg and her bridal party stayed at The Courthouse situated within the grounds of Pimhill Barn, there we delivered her bouquets.

We lucked upon a beautiful airbnb for our stay which I hope to return to in the future when we have the opportunity to stay longer and explore the beauty and quaint countryside of Shrewsbury!

A huge thank you to Meg & Billy for inviting us to celebrate the occasion with our flowers. But especially for their trust in allowing us to create florals for such a memorable event.
