Today i’m sharing with you some beautiful moments from Rachel & Silas’ wedding in August, captured by photographer
Lyndsay Buchanan .
Dress - Toteme
Earrings - Kiri and Belle
I was so pleased to find myself back in the grounds of the Whitworth Gallery in Manchester for Rachel and Silas’ wedding. A pleasure of a venue to work with and install at, ran with true professionalism and attention to detail. It’s so fun to be a cog in the wheel for the day, working alongside their events team.
Location - Whitworth Gallery, Manchester
For Rachel and Silas we supplied various floral assets, from a transitional ceremony scene and aisle arrangements, to tablescape bud vase bottles and ready to wear bespoke bouquets, finished with ribbon. Curated with a paired back palette of lemon, white and buttermilk shades, complimented with greens and vibrant accents of strong yellow.
Our highly curated colour palette matched seamlessly with the beautiful choice of dress on the day, echoed across the couple’s well considered decisions which made the colour story flow perfectly.
We supplied a basket of organic, dried flower petals (tonal of course). Which is so whimsically captured in these special photographs.
Despite the biblical rain which ascended earlier in the day photographer Lyndsay managed to capture some charismatic portraits aside the herbaceous borders in the Whitworth garden. Iconically framed by the Nathan Coley sculpture, ‘Gathering of Strangers”.
Cake - Pollen Bakery
Our large transitional troughs which had started the day in the grand hall for the ceremony, then made their way to the wedding breakfast, lining the top table to create a lush and abundant meadow scene.
The aisle troughs were then later used in the evening, framing speakers and the DJ table. Our transitional meadow trough scenes are incredibly versatile and cost effective.
A special thank you to Rachel & Silas, for inviting me to design and install for their wedding, it was a pleasure working with you both.
